Formerly known as the
Citizen Forces Rifle Association

Founded in 1923

Service Rifle Shooting is certainly one of the most exciting of the shooting disciplines available to Australian shooters today.
When you join the Military Rifle Clubs Association (MRCA), you shoot with a collection of people from all backgrounds who share the love of a great sport, one that we all wish to see flourish and expand.

So, if you want to try shooting as an organised and safe sport, contact one of our member clubs for more information on how you can get involved.

R.A.E. Member, Ted Hardy, at "Rats of Tobruk" Reunion.

Photographs below: First one shows the current 5 Rats Of Tobruk still mobile enough to attend the function. One of them is 103   He told me that he started using years once he got to 100.    Age range 92 to 103

The second picture is John Dickson & Ted Hardy.

John Dickson was a shooter over on the full bore side, up until a few years ago. He only gave it away because of the electronic targets.  Could not see his shoots on the screen. He was still shooting a No1 303 up until he left.

As 2015 commemorates the 100th Anniversary of the landings on the Gallipoli Peninsula, the MRCA is mindful of the contribution made by past and present Service Men and Women.
